Our Drivers' Journey

 The Pink Unity Rides initiative began with a vision to empower the tribal women of Ekta Nagar (Kevadia). Our drivers belong to the Tribal community, indigenous to this region with deep roots in Gujarat's cultural heritage.

Each of our women drivers has undergone rigorous training in:

  • Professional Driving Skills: Comprehensive e-rickshaw operation and road safety
  • Tourist Guide Training: Knowledge about Statue of Unity, local attractions, and tribal culture
  • Language Skills: Communication in Hindi, Gujarati, and basic English
  • Customer Service: Hospitality and professional conduct with tourists
  • Emergency Response: First aid and crisis management

Most of our drivers are mothers, sisters, and daughters who have broken traditional barriers to pursue this profession. They take immense pride in showing tourists their homeland while earning a dignified income for their families.
